2008 South West Trip

In just returned (November 12, 2008) from a 10 day trip to the Desert Southwest with several friends. Every day we were in a new location covering large areas of New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. I haven't spent much time in the deserts so it was all new to me. We explored both well known places as well as other less known areas of this amazing country. I have never had much of an interest in the desert but friends assured me I would fall in love with it and I did. There was an amazing variety of landscapes, textures and colors. While I still consider myself a mountain guy, this has opened up a new world of possibilities for me. Thanks for taking me along guys!
